INDIANA MAN DIES WHILE ON THE JOB AT ELECTRIC POWER PLANT IN ROCKPORT

An Evansville, Indiana man is dead after an apparent Work Comp related accident at American Electric Power plant in Rockport. The city of Rockport is in Spencer County which is about three hours south of Indianapolis. Work Comp injuries or Workers' Compensation injuries are those that one suffers while in the course and scope of their employment or in short, while on the job.

As reported by www.wishtv.com in the article, "Evansville Man Dies After Power Plant Fall," 54-year old Kent Todd was a contractor at the plant who fell 150 feet while on the job. The Spencer County Coroner says Todd suffered massive internal injuries from the fall. The coroner's office is still looking into this incident.
